Recently I have been learning to meditate and spend time in silence. Meditating and saying positive affirmations have been life-changing for me. As someone who struggles with anxiety, people-pleasing, and worries, grounding helps me stay present. Grounding also helps with getting clarity on my goals, my dreams, and my business. I have started to meditate early in the morning when I wake up. Meditating and saying positive affirmations help me begin the day with gratitude and happiness. It puts me in a more positive state of mind.
Rather than starting the day in a reactive state, I choose slowness.
So I ask you, fellow female business owner, how are you feeling these days? How much time are you spending on meditation? It may be hard to stop in the busy world that we live in. But studies show that practicing meditation can actually help increase productivity, stress, and happiness. Meditation has also been shown to help with creativity.
So I decided to write a short but highly effective affirmation that helps my clients and me with our mindset. Recently, I have changed the way I coach my clients. We start with a brief meditation and affirmation before we talk about marketing. Spending time in the present helps set the tone. We get clarity on what needs to get done for the day without feeling rushed. It’s part of my 222 Content Clarity Program I recently launched. I am working on the audio for this. Get into a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath through the nose.
Let it out the mouth.
Take another deep breath in and let it out.
Take another deep breath and hold it for 2, 3, 4 and let it out with a sigh.
Let’s set the tone for today.
You can repeat these affirmations silently or out loud.
Today, I will create amazing things.
Today, my business will shine.
Today, my talents will shine.
Today, I will be my most energetic, happy, and relaxed self.
Others are ready to work with me.
Businesses need my work and talents.
I am smart, kind, and ambitious.
I am strong and centered.
I can handle anything that comes my way.
I welcome opportunities because they are coming.
I will take grace in all I do.
I got this.
Take another deep breath in through the nose.
And let it out the mouth.
Take one last big deep breath in, hold it for 2, 3, 4 and let it out with a sigh.
Stretch your arms up to the sky, take a stretch, and smile.
You will do everything you need to get done today.
